All coaches at Buninyong CrossFit are 100% dedicated to making your experience with us a positive one. All coaches are as a minimum CrossFit Trainer Level 1 accredited with vast experience training groups and individuals. Buninyong CrossFit's head coaches Kade and Benj are also CrossFit Level 2 Trainers and have both Certificate III and IV in Fitness. All sessions are meticulously planned by Regional Games athlete and Warrnambool CrossFit Coach Claire Fraser. All Buniniyong CrossFit coaches will adjust the workout to specifically suit your fitness level. CrossFit, simply put is a community based exercise regime that focuses on using "Constantly Varied Functional Movement" to build strength, fitness and mobility.
CrossFit classes are run in a small group setting where you will receive expert and close instruction on numerous types of exercise. Our classes are small which gives you the benefit of close personalised/one-on-one training.
CrossFit structures itself around numerous exercises borrowed from multiple modalities including gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, cardiovascular training and metabolic conditioning. All of these exercises are incorporated into workouts and varied on a daily basis to "keep your body guessing". This type of training does not allow your body to adapt and ensures you will see results well into the future.
What’s more, the constantly varied movements ensure you rarely do the same workout twice and never ever get bored. You will not find machines, or program cards, mirrors or scales in a CrossFit gym. You will however find real people with a will to seek out sustainable fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
The answer simply is YES! We have not reinvented the wheel. All movements performed in a CrossFit workout are designed to improve your functional movement, they are movements that replicate life.
